What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient practice that has been around for over 3000 years. Yoga gives us a way to attune the physical body to a positive flow of energy. It gives us a way to dispel the clouds that hide our true nature, leading us to peace within. All techniques of yoga aim to produce tranquility. Yoga provides a way to understand how the body functions from the inside out. The transformation of the body-mind-spirit continuum is a long and difficult task, and yoga does not propose a fast, easy solution. Release of muscular and mental tension begins with one’s first yoga posture, but the all out transformation of consciousness is a lifetime pursuit. Yoga is a road to freedom that is available to all.
